Baluran is even referred to as a miniature Indonesian forest, as it contains nearly all forest types in Indonesia. It includes savannah vegetation, coastal forests, mangrove forests, seasonal forests, lower mountain forests, and evergreen forests, creating a beautiful and refreshing landscape. The presence of Bekol Savanna is one of the reasons Baluran National Park is called the Africa of Java.
