Tour Kawah Ijen – Baluran
The Ijen Crater – Baluran Tour is an adventure tour package that offers the perfect blend of volcanic beauty and exotic wildlife. On this trip, you'll be invited to climb one of Indonesia's best geotourism destinations, the Ijen Crater, famous for the world's largest acidic crater lake and the rare natural phenomenon of blue fire. If the weather permits, you can also enjoy the sunrise from the summit of Ijen, overlooking the dramatic crater panorama.
After exploring the heights, continue your journey to Baluran National Park, known as "Little Africa in Java." Here, you'll explore the vast Bekol Savannah, set against the backdrop of the majestic Mount Baluran. Equally exciting experiences await at Bama Beach and the Mangrove Trail, ideal places to relax and observe wildlife such as deer, peacocks, wild buffalo, and various endemic bird species.
This tour is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors, a combination of trekking and safari, and want to experience the charm of two very different natural landscapes in one day—from volcanic peaks to exotic tropical savannahs.
D1 . IJEN BLUE FIRE TRIP
12:35 AM – Travel to the Paltuding area, the entrance to the Ijen Crater climb. (An additional option to Wurung Crater is available for a separate fee).
2:00 AM – Arrive at Paltuding and confirm your entrance ticket online. Afterward, the climb to the summit begins with a challenging uphill path, but offers fresh air and a serene mountain atmosphere.
4:00 AM – You'll arrive at the crater area. Here, you can witness the sunrise from above and see the iconic turquoise crater lake. If you're lucky, clear skies will offer a spectacular view.
7:00 AM – The climb is complete. You'll descend back to Paltuding and continue your journey to your accommodation.
9:00 AM – Arrive back at your hotel to rest, shower, and recharge before continuing your afternoon adventure.
D1 . BALURAN TRIP
12:00 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant on the route to Baluran.
2:30 PM – Arrive at Bekol Savannah, the heart of Baluran National Park. You'll be invited to climb a viewing tower for panoramic views of the vast savannah with the majestic Mount Baluran as a backdrop—a perfect moment for taking photos and enjoying Indonesia's wildlife.
3:00 PM – Afterward, the visit continues to Bama Beach, a tranquil beach located at the edge of the national park. You can walk along the mangrove path and admire the beauty of the mangrove roots and the wooden bridge leading to the pier.
3:30 PM – Depart Baluran. On the way back, if you're lucky, you might spot endemic wildlife such as deer, green peacocks, wild buffalo, and jungle fowl. Sunset over the savannah is also a perfect end to the day's adventure.
6:00 PM – Dinner at a local restaurant on the way back to town.
7:00 PM – The tour officially ends. You will be dropped off at your hotel, train station, or airport. See you on your next adventure!
