Fun fact about this reservoir is how it really resembles Raja Ampat in Papua but the scale is smaller. That’s why may people call this reservoir as “Miniature of Raja Ampat”. Located right in the border between Banyuwangi and Situbondo, this reservoir is the house for more than 10 million cubic of water. It actually hasn’t been that long since this reservoir is open for public in 2016. But it doesn’t take a long time for Bajulmati Reservoir to gain the attention of the travelers because the scenery is really fabulous. The hills in the reservoir will look like small islands and that’s what make Bajulmati get its reputation as the miniature of Raja Ampat.

Once you’re at the peak, take a look at the crater and you’ll find that Raung Mountain has unique crater as it’s shaped in elliptical way and the depth is about 500 meters.
